UK-Based Businessman David Aninakwah Officially Takes Over Kotoko Babies SC

A UK-based Businessman David Akwasi Aninakwah has formally taken over Kotoko Babies Sporting Club, a renowned Colts Football Club-based in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Mr Aninakwah finalised all paper works in 2018 and has finally commenced restructuring of the club in the area of player recruitment, the appointment of a competent technical director, head coach, formation of management members, and also setting up a strong communications department made up of expert communicators and seasoned sports journalists.

The football fanatic arrived in Ghana early this year before the outbreak of the Coronavirus Pandemic and is taking the opportunity to rebrand the club with the hope of making it the home of top young stars who would be transferred to top clubs both in Ghana and outside the country in the coming years.

The new Kotoko Babies President is an entrepreneur and currently runs an international security firm for the elite in society generally in Sports, entertainment, showbiz and others in the United Kingdom.

Kotoko Babies SC which was established in 1971, have produced some top stars such as Leeds United cult hero Anthony Yeboah, Anthony Osei Kojo, Owusu Banahene, David Sarkodie, Accra Hearts of legend Daniel Coleman and Afrane Yeboah.
