On the sidelines of the 11th edition  of Africa Postal Forum, which was held on May 27 and 28, 2022 in Marrakech, under the theme "  The African Post facing major global changes  ", the Barid Al-Maghrib Group proceeded to the signing of two memorandums of understanding with, on the one hand, the Tunisian Post Office and, on the other hand, the Mauritanian Post Office.

These agreements testify to the historical, fraternal and close ties uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and these brotherly and friendly countries of our region. They also echo the efforts undertaken for several years for the development of the African postal sector and the strengthening of South-South cooperation.

As part of its two agreements, Barid Al-Maghrib agrees with its two partners to combine efforts to identify and implement the best solutions to consolidate their strategic relations in different areas of cooperation affecting the postal sector. This involves, among other things, developing new services, sharing expertise and know-how, in this case, in terms of financial services, digital post, distribution service and express mail service international (EMS).

Beyond bilateral agreements, Barid Al-Maghrib is working to strengthen and improve its cooperation with its partners by actively taking part in the various events and projects initiated by the organizations of which it is a member, in particular the UPU and the European Union. Panafrican Postal Commission (PAPU), the Permanent Arab Postal Commission (CAPP) and the Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed). The Group also provides support for the technical activities of these organizations for the benefit of other countries, particularly in Africa, where it regularly carries out assistance and training missions.
