Senegal’s Sangomar offshore oil field achieves record Q1 production

Senegal’s Sangomar offshore oil field reached a record production of 3.08 million barrels in March 2025, according to the monthly operating report released this Monday.
The report indicates that the Sangomar field continues its strong performance, achieving this significant crude oil production figure for the month.
During March, three shipments, identified as SAN024, SAN025, and SAN026, totaling 2.85 million barrels, were successfully exported and marketed internationally.
The production forecast for 2025 remains positive, with an estimated total of 30.53 million barrels of oil. Field operators are focused on stabilizing daily production at approximately 100,000 barrels per day.
Senegal’s first offshore oil field, Sangomar, is playing a crucial and growing role in the nation’s energy strategy.
