Rosemary Beryl Archer appointed Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Exim Bank

Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Rosemary Beryl Archer as Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Exim Bank (GEXIM). She boasts more than 20 years of experience in the banking, communication and media sector. 

Indeed, Rosemary Beryl Archer has, during the 16 years of her banking experience, had to occupy several positions of responsibility at Universal Merchant Bank (UMB), Access Bank and Fidelity Bank. Prior to her appointment, she headed the SME Banking Department at GEXIM where she was instrumental in advancing key initiatives to position SMEs as a useful platform to facilitate the government's industrial transformation agenda. 

As head of international cooperation at GEXIM, the manager played a key role in the conclusion of memoranda of understanding with peer international development banks such as US Exim, India Exim, Indonesia Exim, Hungary, Thai and Slovenia Exim . All of these relationships and partnerships have resulted in new access to funding and knowledge transfer. 

Founded in 2016, GEXIM's main mission is to support Ghanaian exports in order to achieve a viable and sustainable economy.
