Launch of The @AfDB_Group supported #Nigeria Electrification Project #NEP being implemented by @realREANigeria. ‘#NEP will provide over 500,000 people/105,000 households with 76.5 MW of electricity of which 68 MW will be solar energy’ says @wshonib2 @e_faal
NEP will serve 8 universities with sustainable energy, 20K micro/small & medium enterprises will receive appliances + equipment, and 150 students will be trained in #RenewableEnergy production. These initiatives will help curb 1.69 million tons of CO2 emissions - via @AfDB_RDNG
