LAUNCH: Africa’s Pulse: The Economic Impact of COVID-19 in Africa

We are pleased to invite you to attend the livestreamed launch of Africa’s Pulse, the World Bank’s regional economic update on April 9, 2020.

This will be the World Bank’s first report on the economic impact of COVID-19 on the Africa region. The report will include economic growth and poverty projections, as well as policy recommendations for countries in the region facing this new global shock.  The World Bank’s Chief Economist for Africa, Albert Zeufack, will participate in a live streamed, moderated question and answer session, presenting the report’s key findings and responding to online questions from media and other stakeholders.
