Coris Bank Guinea Bissau was inaugurated on March 30, 2022 in the capital of the eponymous country. The ceremony took place in the presence of President Umaro Sissoco Embaló and members of his government, as well as diplomats including Jacob Ouedraogo, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Senegal and Guinea Bissau.

In his speech, the Head of State of Guinea-Bissau insisted on the need for a win-win partnership and the importance of the financial sector in economic development. On the Coris Bank side, President Idrissa Nassa attended the inauguration alongside Myriam Koné, General Manager of Coris Guinea Bissau, Arfang Boubacar Daffé, PCA of the branch and, among others, Ibrahima Fall, General Manager of Coris Bank Senegal.

With this opening, the Coris Bank Group completes its presence in the 8 countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). The success of the bank with a total balance sheet of 4,750 billion CFA francs (8 billion euros) comes from its proximity to the States and economic operators in general. "Our bet has always been to do banking differently and we will do it in Guinea Bissau," said President Idrissa Nassa.
