Equatorial Guinea: BANGE increases its capital to 56 billion FCFA

The National Bank of Equatorial Guinea (BANGE) has increased its share capital in order to adapt to changes in the company marked in recent months by the extension of its network in the sub-region. After having obtained from the Central African Banking Commission (COBAC) the agreement to modify the share capital, the ordinary general meeting of shareholders of BANGE ratified this increase on July 29, 2022 in Malabo, from 20 billion ( 58 million dollars) to 56 billion FCFA (86 million dollars). An increase which takes into account the issue premium of 5 billion
