Congo obtains budget support from the World Bank, the first since 2005
The World Bank will disburse 50 million dollars to the Republic of Congo. This commitment was sealed by the signing of an agreement between the Minister of Planning, Statistics and Regional Integration, Ingrid Olga Ghislaine Ebouka-Babackas, and the representative of the World Bank, Korotoumou Ouattara, on December 19, 2022 in Brazzaville.
This envelope, it is said, will allow Congo to continue its reforms, in particular on the modernization of the revenue collection procedure and the strengthening of expenditure management.
