Cape Verde joins the Africa 50 fund

This is one of the major announcements unveiled on the sidelines of the General Meetings of the Africa 50 fund held on July 19 in Marrakech (Morocco) on the eve of the US-Africa Business Summit. Cape Verde has become the 32nd shareholder of the fund dedicated to financing infrastructure in Africa. Africa 50 now has 29 member countries in addition to three institutions which are the central bank of Morocco (Bank Al Maghrib), the African Development Bank (ADB) and the Central Bank of West Africa (BCEAO).
