August 23, 2022 – Binance, the world's leading blockchain ecosystem and crypto-asset infrastructure provider, today announced the launch of a crypto education hub in Yaoundé, Cameroon , in collaboration with Inoni Tech, a non-profit tech hub providing resources and training to young people across Francophone Africa. This is a one-of-a-kind crypto hub, which will be a training center for in-person blockchain education sessions. Through this hub, Binance will provide crypto-asset enthusiasts with more resources to thrive within the ecosystem and foster offline connections.

Located in Bastos, 300 meters from The Famous restaurant, the center will create a smoother, safer and more convenient experience for Binancers and crypto newbies in general. Through regular in-person events, the center will be the community's focal point for blockchain education, the latest crypto news, and trainings.

Since launching the Binance Masterclass course series, Binance has educated over 600,000 Africans about cryptoassets, some face-to-face, others virtually. The launch of the crypto hub takes training efforts a step further, building trust and creating connections.

“Africans continue to engage with crypto in multiple ways, establishing some of the most important use cases and opportunities for greater financial inclusion. Thanks to the Binance crypto hub, we see a more hands-on approach as an essential step in demystifying concepts, fostering a good understanding of the many opportunities that education, web3.0, and the blockchain ecosystem can bring to Cameroon. and, ultimately, Francophone Africa,” said Carine Dikambi, Head of Francophone Africa at Binance.
