Banks: 38% increase in Ecobank Group profit
The profit of Ecobank Transcontinental Incorporated (ETI), the parent company of the Ecobank banking group, recorded an increase of 38% at the end of the third quarter of 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, according to the audited activity report published by the leaders of this pan-African bank based in Lomé. This profit thus accounted for 193.335 billion FCFA (309.336 million dollars) against 140.454 billion FCFA (224.726 million dollars) as of September 30, 2021.
