Aircraft parking fees reduced
ZAMBIA Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) has reduced parking fees for aircraft between zero and five tonnes from US$5 per hour to US$10 per day with the first six hours being free. The reduction has been necessitated by ZACL’s quest to support growth of small, medium and private aircraft operators. ZACL communications and brand officer Monde Yamalezi said in a statement yesterday that the reduction is also meant to improve the country’s competitiveness in terms of airport fees regionally and globally.
